In early 2022, we were proud to donate our 1991 pumper truck, Engine 716, to the dedicated fire department in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. At the time, the department was in desperate need of equipment to keep their community safe. We are beyond thrilled to see that, nearly 3 years later, Engine 716 is still making a huge impact on the front lines. As you can see in these recent photos, Engine 716 has been put to work as a primary truck for Cabo’s fire department. It’s helping save lives, protect property, and serve the community—just as it did for us. We couldn’t be more proud to see this piece of equipment continue its mission in a new home. Scioto Valley Fire District Increases Lifesaving Capabilities Thanks to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

On Friday, August 16, the Scioto Valley Fire District was informed that the district was awarded a federal grant of $66,980.95 for the purchase of replacement fire hose, fire nozzles, and water supply appliances through the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program. The AFG program is administered by the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency in cooperation with the U.S. Fire Administration.
