Scioto Valley Fire District Receives Grant from Aladdin Shriners ASHAC Program

September 15, 2025

The Scioto Valley Fire District is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant in the amount of $2,588.27 from the Aladdin Shriners Hospital Association for Children (ASHAC) Program.

This funding has allowed the district to purchase a UE Scope 2 Video Laryngoscope System and a Stat Pack Breather Bag, which will serve as our dedicated pediatric bag. Both items are vital additions to our EMS operations, enhancing our ability to provide advanced airway management and age-appropriate care during critical emergencies.

Assistant Chief Harper shared, “These new tools directly improve the level of service we can provide to our community. We are extremely grateful to the Aladdin Shriners and their ASHAC Program for making this possible.”

The ASHAC Program was established by the Aladdin Shriners to support children and communities across Ohio through funding and resources that improve care and emergency response. More information about the program can be found by visiting their website: https://aladdinshrine.org/about-ashac/.

The Scioto Valley Fire District extends a heartfelt thank you to the Aladdin Shriners for their continued commitment to supporting children, first responders, and the communities we serve.
