The Scioto Valley Fire District proudly joins communities across the nation in recognizing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week 2025, a time to honor the life-saving work of our EMS professionals and the critical role they play in public health and safety.

This year’s theme, “Honoring Our Past. Forging Our Future,” reflects the enduring legacy of EMS providers while looking forward to the innovations and dedication that will continue to shape the field. From paramedics and EMTs to dispatchers and support personnel, these individuals are on the front lines 24/7, delivering compassionate, expert care when it matters most.

At Scioto Valley Fire District, our EMS team is made up of highly trained and deeply committed professionals who respond to hundreds of calls each year. Whether providing life-saving interventions at the scene of an accident, administering critical care during a medical emergency, or offering reassurance to patients and families in crisis, their work truly makes a difference.
