The Scioto Valley Fire District will be accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic.
Employment Benefits:
- Online fire and EMS continuing education provided.
- Firefighter Il, AEMT, & Paramedic tuition paid with a service commitment.
- Time and a half pay rate for holidays worked.
- 8,12, & 24-hour shifts available as well as every 6th-day rotations if desired and

Applicants must possess the following:
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Minimum of a valid Ohio EMT-Basic Certification (Paramedic Preferred)
- Valid CPR Card
- Minimum of a valid Ohio Firefighter | Certification
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening examination and
physical. - Successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Have the ability to be insured by the district’s insurance provider.

To pick up your application in person please call 740-499-2545 to schedule a time to pick up the application. Completed applications with copies of certifications must be turned into the station or emailed to Assistant Chief Josh Harper at jharper@sciotovalleyfd.com.
